Raquel is a results-oriented loan officer who has over twenty years of experience in the mortgage industry. She has built her reputation based on a consumer-centric, high-level of integrity, and exceptional follow-through skills with her clients always first. Most of her business comes through referrals from both satisfied customers and satisfied business partners.
When meeting a customer, Raquel performs a complete analysis of the customer’s financial needs. Based on that custom analysis, she will recommend a mortgage loan program that meets the customer’s needs and goals. Raquel’s main objective is to have a satisfied customer throughout the loan process, from the beginning to well beyond the closing date.
Raquel has been working in the mortgage, banking, and real estate industries in Florida for over two decades. She started her mortgage career with Bank Atlantic, now BB&T, where she worked for over 12 years. Raquel started as a loan officer and was progressively promoted to become vice president & residential sales manager. She also owned real estate and mortgage companies for almost a decade, giving her great additional experience to guide her mortgage customers. She has experience as a loan officer for direct lenders and for mortgage brokers. Now Raquel is a Loan Originator with Certified Home Loans and part of their team of mortgage professionals.
Raquel holds memberships with the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals, and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. She is also certified as a Veterans Loan Specialist. Raquel has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and she has completed numerous courses related to mortgages and real estate. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, which gives her the opportunity to explain the mortgage process completely to both English speakers and Spanish speakers.
